Rainscreen Details

We worked Josef’s magic again today largely focusing on the rainscreen details. Each window has an intricate overlapping membrane pattern that ties into the building wrap and then the rainscreen is added on top of that. Even with the 3’+ overhangs on the gable ends of the building the wind driven rain will get to the windows and siding so it is important to get things right to keep the weather out and the building healthy for many years to come. I was concentrating mainly on getting the electrical rough in started. It was nice for Dana and I to catch up with Josef over the weekend as it has been a while.
