Erosion Control

Dana spent most of an October weekend moving dirt, levelling, seeding and rolling the front and back areas with the hopes of getting the lawn to set up this fall and give it a fighting chance to get established before the Canadian geese arrive in the spring. We are experimenting in a couple of high traffic/exposure areas with a landscape fabric mat that is pinned to the soil surface and then the grass is supposed to grow through and, ultimately, make the mat go away.
