July 2 and 3: The labourer had envisioned this lovely, peaceful project of painting the cabins over the long weekend and sometimes what one envisions doesn’t quite come to be. Well, very rarely, but sometimes the labourer has a tendency to be obsessive, compulsive and this was one of those times. Having got to the end of the weekend without the painting box ticked she decided that just wasn’t good enough. (see kids she does it to herself too). Like Steve would say time to ‘get ‘er done’! Two days later, completely sick of every radio station’s repeating playlists, overflowing internal dialogs including mini goals (‘finish this room before breakfast’ etc. etc.) gorgeous days come and gone, feet aching, wrist throbbing, her favourite ocean temperature underutilized the main cabin painting was complete.
Way to go Dana…looking good!
