The Posts are Coming

Changed gears today and started working on the deck posts that will hold up the beams that will hold up the rafters that will hold up the rest of the roof. Stef has come up as well to give me a hand for the week and help keep things moving forward. The posts had to be set with a special jig/bore hole combination in order to use the timberlinx fasteners that you sometimes see to hold two timbers together. It should look pretty cool when finished. We had a real hailstorm pounding us for an hour this afternoon on an otherwise blue sky day.
