The Mistral

Well, things have slowed down a little bit at Santa’s workshop but he did manage to create a lovely bench seat that is now fondly referred to as the Mistral. Made to satisfy the utmost of lounge lizard critics, this comfortable recliner has its cushions made from my first windsurfing sail, the Mistral Malibu. I had been extremely reluctant to throw out this long retired sail as the colours are still a beautiful and a vivid reminder of the 80’s. The original plan of hanging the entire sail on the wall was nixed by the better half and she was certainly surprised by this reincarnation.
