Another milestone has occurred and this one gets us pretty excited. Ed from Dunbar Hardwoods has been up for a few days sanding, staining and oiling the fir floors. After much planning (mostly around getting a functional 220 volt power system up and running to feed the large floor sander) Ed was able to work his magic and really bring the floors to life. It’s a big step because we now can finish the baseboards and interior trim as well as place some furniture in order to really “live” in the cabin.
